Understand your AI usage.
What counts as a token?
Tokens are the unit of measure for Claude AI input and output. Each tech pack parse uses approximately 15,000–50,000 tokens depending on page count and document complexity. Purchase order parsing uses 3,000–8,000 tokens. Your admin dashboard tracks exact usage per parse run so there are no surprises.
What happens if I exceed my monthly token limit?
Parse jobs queue and resume at the start of the next billing cycle. You can also upgrade your plan at any time to get more tokens immediately. Enterprise plans set custom limits based on your volume.
Can I bring my own Anthropic API key?
Yes — Enterprise plans support BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) configuration. You pay Anthropic directly for token usage and Merchant Pro provides the platform, pipeline, and storage. This removes per-token overhead for high-volume factories.
How is billing structured?
Merchant Pro is a workspace subscription. You pay a monthly or annual fee per workspace (organisation). AI token costs are either included in the plan or passed through at cost for Enterprise BYOK setups. Contact us for a custom quote based on your expected style volume.
